Preston Recruitment Professionals

About

Preston Recruitment Professionals connects employers with people who are ready to do the job well. We work on permanent, temporary and contract roles, and we treat both sides of every placement as our client. That means listening carefully to what a business actually needs, screening candidates properly and being straight with job seekers about each opportunity. We keep shortlists short, feedback honest and communication regular. Hiring takes less of your time, and new starters arrive knowing what to expect.

Our story

Hiring the wrong person costs time, money and momentum. Most managers have little room to write a job brief, sift a pile of CVs and run interview rounds alongside their own work. Candidates face the other side of the same problem, with applications that vanish without a reply. We exist to close that gap and match people and roles with care on both sides.

Every search starts with a conversation. We ask about the role, the team and what good work looks like after the first few months. From there we write a clear brief, search for suitable people and speak with candidates before anyone reaches your shortlist. We check experience against the brief, not just keywords on a CV. Candidates hear from us at each stage, including when the answer is no.

As an employer, you can expect a focused shortlist and honest feedback on how the market sees your role. As a candidate, you can expect straight answers about the job and the employer behind it. Tell us what you need, and we will start with a conversation.

What we stand for

  1. 01

    Listen before searching

We learn the role, the team and your expectations first, so the people we put forward fit the job you actually have.

  2. 02

    Shortlists over volume

You receive a small number of candidates we have already spoken with, not a stack of unread CVs.

  3. 03

    Honest feedback both ways

Employers hear what candidates think of the role. Candidates hear why an application moved forward or stopped.

  4. 04

    Clear updates throughout

Everyone knows where a hiring process stands, from the first call to the final offer.

Who we help

  • Small and growing businesses

Often hiring without an HR team, they need help defining the role, finding suitable candidates and running a clear interview process.

  • Established employers

HR teams and hiring managers who need extra reach for hard-to-fill roles and a shortlist they can rely on.

  • Job seekers

People looking for their next role who want relevant openings, honest advice on their applications and regular updates.

  • Professionals considering a move

People in work who want a discreet conversation about what else is out there before they decide to apply.

How it works

  1. 1

    Talk through the role

We discuss the job, the skills that matter, the team and your timescale. Then we confirm the brief and terms in writing.

  2. 2

    Search and screen

We advertise, search our network and interview applicants, checking experience, references and right-to-work where needed.

  3. 3

    Shortlist and interviews

You receive a short list with notes. We arrange interviews, gather feedback from both sides and manage the offer.

  4. 4

    Start and follow-up

Once your new starter begins, we check in with you both during the first weeks.
